Life After College
 
Story:

My life really began after I graduated college.  I left everything that I knew and ended up knowing nothing.  I bought a plane ticket by random chance.  I closed my eyes, ran my finger down an atlas and ended up on Tahiti.  I am a very lucky girl because I could have gone anywhere.  So, Tahiti it was!!!! I packed up one backpack and two thousand dollars that I had saved.  I bought myself a cabana once I arrived.  I had no running water, and no electricity.  This is the view I have when I am sitting on the sand in front of my house.  The hammock was a gift from a native.  It is where I spend most of my time.  This is my new life and I am very happy about it.

Inspiration:

My inspiration is always the beach.  In any project I do, I always make sure to include a part of my surf attitude.

Problems and Solutions:

My biggest problem was with the hammock.  I had the tutorial but I was still confused on exactly how I was going to make it look more like a hammock.  Not only was I trying to make the hammock look more volumous than the spider web but I also needed it to look like it could support someone.  Stretching it really messed it up too.  Honestly, time and effort is the way that I finally accomplished this project.  I changed the area by using guess and check.  I just think overall that the entire project was a problem.  I feel that I am a lot more comfortable now with the entire Lightwave program.  The other problem that I ran into was trying to make it look realistic.  Thanks to Rob Abbott, I was able to learn a lot and have a good time while doing it.
