Inspiration

Originally I wanted to do a log cabin based from the books done by Louis L'Amour.  However I could never find a texture for walls of a log cabin so that idea got thrown out.  I decided to go with a general run of the mill office, nothing too fancy or elaborate, but not quite a cubicle; an office for a junior executive of a corporation, Joe Schmoe.

Problems & Solutions:

This being my first experience with Lightwave, the interface was one of my biggest problems; it resolved itself after using the program for hours at a time.  Lighting was also an issue once it was time to render my scene.  For some reason or another I couldn't seem to get any lighting to show up in the actual render.  I'm not sure how I fixed it except that I kept moving the light around and changing the types.  The one that finally worked was the spotlight.  The only other problem I had was changing textures on the same object and using imported textures.  I solved this by using the same texture on the whole object and by using Lightwave preset textures.
