Inspiration

My inspiration was my desk in my room, no matter how much I clean it is always seems to accumulate clutter (okay, so I don't clean it that much). For my lightwave project I wanted to create my desk, but make it all clean and organized. So essentially my dream desk, which is super organized

Problems & Solutions

Creating the desk
Originally I tried to create the desk using a series of boxes and punching holes in them via the boolean subtract operator. This became much too complicated, so instead I created the desk using a number of boards and pieced them together. (Like a real desk minus the nuts and bolts)

Lighting
I had trouble getting my lighting to work the way I wanted it. There was a shadow on my backdrop, and a shadow from one of the wall. I solved this by added more different lights, and making my backdrop larger and further away. I created a distant light outside the window in front of the blacktop. And 3 area lights, one outside to light up my background, one for my lamp, and another inside because
