Inspiration:

I like to drive.  I remembered that one time I drove on I-5 to Canada with my friends a year ago.  The scenery is always beautiful on the way to Canada.  The idea is that you drive on the highway and you drive into a mountain and you feel that there is no way out.  Because when you almost reach the mountain pass, you will see the other chain of the mountain continually.  And, one thing you could do is just keep going and going without any returned.  It is like we face on our life, just keep going of what you are doing without any regret.

Therefore, I picked up this idea of doing on my last project.  The mountain forest is like every challenge we are facing.  No matter how hard it is, the only thing we could do is just keep going and trying to get through it.  The flowers are meaning that every beautiful memory we had.  No matter where you stayed, you all have a enjoyable part of memory in your life.

Problems and Solutions:

Originally, I was going to do a snowy mountain.  I looked at the Lightwave 3D web page and following what its saying.  I got the mountain I want, but, the appearance is different.  It turned out a totally different shape of mountain.  The surface should have the white spots, but it turn out the black spots.  I guess I am troubling of using Bump textures.  So the gradient setting is mixing up as well.  And, somehow, I've got all the confusing there.  If I got more time, I would do the mountain cover with snow perfectly.  About the flower, I really like what I made about the flower.  I was using disk for making a petal and band it a little bit.  Then using clone and set its number to 5, and set the rotation of H on 60 degree.  So, each flower has 6 petals.  And, about the pistil, using ball and set its sides to 16 and segments is 12.  The challenge part is using the bevel of making the pistil looks more realistically.   You can just select the ¾ side of upper ball and go to the bevel tool and using mouse to hold it to several edges.  This might need to take a little time to try it out.  Also, making those many flowers, the fastest way is using the Rail clone to stretch out the line and let those flowers run it randomly on the rail chain.  So, the problem is that I have hundreds of flowers on my grassland, and because it was too many, when I run the project, it takes a bit of long time and my computer almost crash.  I guess it is too many polygons inside on my project, and because those flowers have to smooth those surfaces.  So, I believe that is the problem of running my project
