Story:
There was a treasure hunter out in space that traveled solo because he was brave and didn't want anyone to get in his way.  He had one of the most advanced traveling ships and the geared that he invented gave him unimaginable speed and maneuverability. All he lived for was the thrill of treasure.

Reason:
I decided to do my project on a Space theme.  I felt this way because recently everything that I have been doing for the class has been far off in a far, far away place.  I wanted to actually make a figure and make him explore things, like flying around looking at things  I also wanted to give him a spaceship so I used the one I made for the space battle from the group project.

Troubleshooting:

One problem that I faced was trying to make a real life model that was posable and low enough poly to where my computer could handle the rendering.  I found out that one easy way was to use extruding.  Out of a box I extruded half a body and so on.  This kept polygons to increase by 8 each time I extruded.  My character ended with 2400 polygons.  I also didn't have enough time to do what I really wanted to do.  I actually wanted to make a hi poly people.  But the complexity of the face took too much time.  Although I learned that planning out how your character looks first is the most time saving thing you can do.  If you don't you can tweak and tweak and it will never look right.
