Lyndsey TransueFinal Scene
The Blue Kitchen

Inspiration:

My kitchen scene came from me being hungry when I was trying to decide what to create. I just thought it would be really fun to make a kitchen and all the pieces that would go inside. I really like scenes that are real to life and show some part of human emotion or interaction. The kitchen is where families gather to talk, listen, share and spend time together. It is also the only room in the house that you can literally not live without. Food is needed to live and a kitchen is the place to store and prepare the food that keeps the family alive. The other inspiration was the popular pc game The Sims. It lets you move items in houses and set up rooms for your characters. It is a lot of fun and I love playing it.

Problems:

My largest problem was time. I don't have Lightwave at home. The only place I could work on my project was in class or lab hours. I was sick all break and the week after so that also slowed me down. I missed the tutorials so I missed a lot of information that could have helped my in my project. I really never got good at bit maps and image mapping. It took me a while to find the Auto Fit key in texture tab.

And my last problem was I was still hungry.
