Tsui-Yin YenDesk Scene
On the top of a mountain at night

Inspiration:

I like to climb mountain but never climb a mountain at night.  And, I always curious about what it is like if I go on a mountain at night.  So, I always dream about that I could sit on the top of mountain at night and enjoy the moment.  So, I created this desk scene that I could sit on the top of mountain and enjoy the beauty of the view of silent night.

Therefore, I picked one of pictures that I went to Crater Lake in Oregon last summer as my background (Wall).  I had lots of good memories when I was there and I love it very much.    It is pity that I could not go there at night to see the whole view but the project brings me an imagination to go there.  Nice!!

Problem:

There was a difficulty for drawing my glass and setting the glass to transparent.  So, I go on the web and find out some solutions for solving my problems.  Also, I found some difficulties about using light functions.  I've tried many functions that I never know that before and took me for a while to test them all.  And, using mouse to adjust the cone angle of light, it was a pain to me for putting the light on the right spot until I found out that I could use one function of setting up the grid square size.  But, I had fun for choosing textures to put on my desk and using image to put on my wall.
