Writers Block

I'm a writer, or so I'd like to think. My inspiration for the piece comes from this. When you are sitting, alone, in a room staring at a blank sheet of paper, it can be pretty intimidating. There are so many things going through your head. Even if you started with the best story idea in the world, the real challenge is putting it down in ink. This scene shows the bare bones of what is needed for a writer to do their business. Sometimes the bare bones can be the problem. A wall, a plant, a chair can all be really distracting or can make you feel very trapped. In a writers mind everything is a story, but the dreaded writers' block can take every ounce of imagination away from a writer. Nothing is funny, nothing works out, there are run-on sentences, if your lucky to even get a sentence. There is no set cure for writer's block. Time and patience are it's only combatants.

I really didn't have many serious problems with Lightwave, just creatively. Situations I came across that stubbed me were things like the Gibson Effect. I think that's what it is called, when you can't get your perspective view in Modeler to flip back over the grid. That really was a pain. In Layout it took me a while to figure out how to move things and position them. It was really a bunch of trial and error, but it really helped me to learn more about the program. I would have to say that my biggest problem was getting things to scale. I don't really think in 3-D yet like I should. That will take practice. And working with millimeters, I had to change to feet and inches half way through because I had no clue how big my objects really were.
