Starving Marvin’s First Meal
 
Inspiration:
Well to tell the truth I originally I wanted to do Lady and the Tramp, but all the images I found on the net were horrible for my scene. Earlier in the day I was watching Southpark and I figured why not. Then when I saw the jpeg with Starving Marvin and Cartmen I just couldn't help but laugh because it was perfect. So I went with the idea and I hope that everyone gets a little chuckle out of it.

Problems and Solutions:
One of the biggest problems that I ran into was the glass. How I fixed that problem was when I was making the glass in Modeler, before lathing it I named the inside of the glass and the outside with surface name. Then I went into Surface Editor and applied the proper texture to the inside and outside of the glass.

Another minor problem that I ran into was when I rendered my image the reflection in the glass where black and not pink (the color of the background). The problem was that background images don't show up in reflections. So to fix this problem I use a box behind the table and placed the image on that box. Now when I rendered the glasses had the proper reflection.
