Before the Flop
Play Only Strong Starting Hands (Both cards above 9 and all pairs)
Raise with pocket queens, kings, pocket aces, and ace-king suited in any position
On the Flop
Bet is you hold the top pair with a good kicker
Generally, raise with two pair or better
Raise with straight draws and flush draws to the nuts in last position
VERY Rarely call holding the second highest pair
Check raise very strong hands in early position
Call when holding two over cards when competition looks weak
After the Flop
You need to hold the best hand at this point or a good draw to a winning hand
Play aggressively is you hold a made hand
If you're going to call with a poor hand on the river, Raise!
General Guidelines
Bet cautiously in early positions - check and raise strong hands
Bet aggressively in late positions
Know your opponents (the cards they play, their betting strategies)
Do very little calling - raising and folding are better strategies
Call with straight draws and flush draws in early or middle position
