okay, so a while back when i was taking economics, our teacher taught us some silly formula to estimate the number of years it would take the value of currency to double if you know the rate of inflation. he said you take 70 and divide by the rate of inflation. (this, of course, is for people who don't know how to use logarithms.) but that formula stinks. my formula is this:
( 208 + x ) / 3x
where x is the rate of inflation. so when the economics book writers realize how silly their formula is and start using mine, they'll have to send me money because of this little © symbol. i can put the © symbol on just about whatever i want, and it makes it my property. how about that.
