Oracle 11g - Database Administration Workshop I (including networking and basic backup and recovery)

Dr. Stapleton is able to offer this course courtesy of the Oracle Academy.  The Oracle Academy is a partnership between Oracle Corporation and member Universities.  This course will prepare you to pass the Oracle 11g DBA Workshop I Certification Exam (aka OCA exam) on your way to becoming an Oracle Certified Professional.  

CSCI 574: Oracle 11g - DBA Workshop I - The prerequisite is either CSCI 370 or CSCI 570 or equivalent or experience with relational databases, including design, transactions, concurrency and SQL.  

CSCI 574 Students - You will install Oracle 11g and create your own database for this course on a single machine in the OCNL 251 lab.  NOTE: You must always use the same machine in the lab, once assigned.
