Oracle Enterprise DBA Part 1A: Oracle Architecture and Administration, using Oracle 9i

Dr. Stapleton is able to offer this course courtesy of the Oracle Academic Initiative - a partnership between Oracle Corporation and member Universities. This course will prepare you to pass the Oracle Enterprise DBA - Part 1A: Architecture and Administration Certification Exam on your way to becoming an Oracle Certified Professional.

CSCI 379 - Enterprise DBA: Oracle 9i Architecture and Administration. The prerequisite is either CSCI 273 or CSCI 276 or equivalent or experience with relational databases, including design, transactions, concurrency and SQL. For this course you will need the Oracle Course Manual "Enterprise DBA Part 1A: Architecture and Administration". Your instructor will advise you on how to obtain the Oracle Course Manuals for this course.

CSCI 379 Students

The course may have fewer machines than students. If so, a few students will need to share. Your TA will explain how this will work. You must always use the same machine, once assigned.
