Oracle Enterprise DBA Part 1A: Oracle Architecture and Administration
Dr. Stapleton is able to offer this course courtesy of the Oracle Academic Initiative - a partnership between Oracle Corporation and member Universities. This course will prepare you to pass the Oracle Enterprise DBA - Part 1A: Architecture and Administration Certification Exam on your way to becoming an Oracle Certified Professional.
CSCI 379 - Enterprise DBA: Oracle 8i Architecture and Administration. The prerequisite is either CSCI 273 or CSCI 276 or equivalent or experience with relational databases, including design, transactions, concurrency and SQL. For this course you will need the Oracle Course Manual "Enterprise DBA Part 1A: Architecture and Administration". This course manual has the part #A80629 you must request that your instructor order it. Student kits can only be ordered by instructors since September, 2001.CSCI 379 Students
The course has 30 students potentially with only 25 machines. Thus, a few students will need to share. For those students sharing a machine, one of you use the Oracle login of ora1 while the other uses the login of ora2.
