This assignment must be done individually.
The assignment is worth 100 points distributed as follows:

• 20% - introduction & overview
• 10% - paper selection
• 50% - review of literature
• 20% - clarity & quality
  

In this assignment you will read three published, peer-reviewed research articles on a closely related topic of your choice in the area of software engineering. You will then write a short paper that gives an introduction and overview of the topic you have chosen, followed by a review of the literature you have studied. This is exactly the approach taken to begin writing a masters thesis proposal. Here are a few links that might help you:

Requirements:

• the papers you choose must have been published in a technical journal or proceedings
• the papers you choose must have gone through peer review
• the paper you write is a formal report and must use correct english, spelling, sentence structure, and grammar
• you must turn in a PDF of each paper you review, in addition to your report

Turn-in Procedure:

• In WebCT, click on the Assignments icon, upload a zip file containing all four documents and submit
