E-MAIL WARNING:

I do a LOT of communicating with my students via e-mail.  A thought might occur to me at  2:30 AM that I think is important for all of you, and I will perform a group e-mail to everyone.  For this reason, it is important to:

1. Have and maintain an ECST e-mail account during this semester.

2. Check your mail at least once daily.  Two or three times is preferred.  This will be expected
of you in industry, so you might as well get into the habit here at school.

3. If you prefer to maintain a different e-mail account, you need to create a .forward
(dot forward) file in your ECST Unix account to forward all of this group mail to your
preferred  address.  Create this file in your root directory using pico, VI, EMACS, or
other Unix editor.  The file should contain (only) the e-mail address you want your mail
    forwarded to.

4. Make sure your e-mail account is active and working.  Many students go over quota on their ECST
e-mail account, and those accounts get frozen.  Make sure yours stays active.
