| Post Christmas News December 27, 1999 |
| Well I think it's time again for another
update. I hope your Christmas was as good as mine was.
I got Bleem!, my Leadtek GeForce-256, Gran Turismo 2, a whole lot of cash, and clothes from my relatives. The cash is good since I now have enough money to finally purchase that Liteon case, but the thing I'm worried about is that I won't be able to do much with eight long-sleeved shirts and sweaters three months from now... |
| Good News and Bad December 20, 1999 |
| So far I got in on Friday and I made my
flights on time. Traffic on the highway wasn't too pleasant.
But so far the good news is that my MC-1000 cooler from Swiftech is going to fit my new GA-7IX Gigabyte motherboard I got afterall. The bad news is that I'm going to have to perform some modifications on the unit in order to secure it to the motherboard--the unit is too big for the Slot-A/1 retention clips so I'll have to find another way of keeping it fastened to my Athlon. By the way, Tom Pettingill aka SDTom of OCPower, you rock! My Athlon 500@650 runs like a dream. The only problem is that my Gigabyte motherboard still will not function with the Guillemot Xentor 32 Ultra I won from RivaZone. I was stuck using my Diamond Viper 330 (Riva-128) for a few days until yesterday. You can view my new video card on the my computer page. It wasn't a total loss though--the card does work in my dad's computer. He is now getting a $200 video card for Christmas. I've also updated my links page. |

| I changed the size of the graphics on
this site because my web server was complaining that I was running 4 megs
over the limit. How could that ever happen? <sarcasm>I only upload monster
movies and super-size graphics to my site.</sarcasm>
Well I cut the size of the graphics and also downsized the movie. The CSCI-40 graphics and photography sections are now more friendly to those whom are not running a T1... |
| This Week's Wrap Up December 16, 1999 |
| OK Great. I'm finally finished with my
finals and I've updated my website again. I have a new site logo and also
some javascript navigation buttons on the top of my web pages now. Kewl.
I also have recieved all my parts for my computer. Now and I can finally start construction on my 650MHz Athlon-powered computer. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. |
| Finals Today... December 13, 1999 |
| Today I have my first final. It's for
my CSCI-40:Computer Art
class. Even though we aren't doing anything, it's the first of five finals.
On Tuesday I have Calculus and CSCI-54:
Visual Basic. VB should be cake, but it's my Calculus class that I'm
worried about. Wish me luck.
I updated my website again. I finally ran a spell checker over the my computer page. I also added a new page for the CSCI-40 work that I've done. Just added a counter from http://www.TheCounter.com. |

| Updated my website and added some more
web pages.
Also got my MC-1000 cooler Swiftech yesterday. Kewl, now only if I had a processor to use it on... I ordered an AMD Athlon from OCPower and it should be here in a few days, but man do I ever wanna play with my yet-to-be 650MHz Athlon powered computer.
