OriginalSim is currently developing its discount schedule for university sales. OriginalSim is also are interested in in-kind development in exchange for product on selected programs that are in line with their development objectives.

Metron will provide their integration framework free of charge to universities. Consulting services are at their normal rate.

CACI does not offer the MODSIM III to HLA libraries at a university discount.

Woverine Software offers the following discount schedule for SLX on HLA.

• Student SLX sells for $39.50. (Book (not yet published) & software included). This version is limited to student-sized problems.
• Lab Fee SLX sells for $100. This is a full-sized version of SLX which we sell to students for performing large projects. Typically the students are Masters' degree or PhD students. Woverine requires (1) a professor's signature, confirming a legitimate, academic project, and (2) a fixed time schedule. Upon completion of the project, $25 is refunded if the required security key is returned.
• Academic SLX sells for $1,000. This is a full-fledged version of the software. It is key-protected. The primary use must be for research and/or teaching. We allow "professor moonlighting" with the software up to a maximum of quarter time. This limitation parallels standard university limits on faculty moonlighting.

MÄK Technologies offers university discounts on a case-by-case basis.

AEgis Research offers a 50% on all of its products.

MultiGen offers the following two discount schedules:

• Discount: 85% discount off current list price plus a maintenance fee equal to 15% of the discounted price.
• Requirements: Must be renewed annually at 15% of the list price of the software.

• Software will be unlocked annually at MultiGen's sole discretion upon receipt of the maintenance fee and compliance to the obligations as stated in the Memo of Understanding.
• All product upgrades, user documentation as well as telephone technical and user support during the period of use for each year that maintenance is paid.
• Access for one student to MultiGen's Basic Training course at a 50% discount. Additional training courses may be purchased at 75% of list price.

• Full rights to distribute and demonstrate any databases developed with MultiGen tools during the period of use. Credit will be indicated in all literature and demonstrations.
• Access, at the Universities discretion, to the facilities housing the MultiGen licenses for purposes of demonstrating or teaching MultiGen's products to its customers.
• Permission to allow MultiGen to let other customers and Universities know how your facility utilizes the software.
