As part of the University Outreach Program, the McLeod Institute of Simulation Sciences is interested in gathering information about courses, research projects, and other applications of the HLA at colleges and universities.
You may indicate in the last question whether you would like to receive email notification as new materials are added or significant revisions are made to the materials, and whether or not you would like to receive information about commercial HLA tools as they are developed.
Module1: Basic Concepts of the High Level Architecture (HLA)
This module consists of six parts which introduce the basic concepts of the HLA. Lecture Notes and Slides are provided for each part in .pdf format. The original document formats are also provided so that the material can be tailored to meet your specific needs (.doc for the microsoft word files and .ppt for the slides).
For your information, the "Last Modified" date and size are indicated. The files will automatically "download" to a file on your system--provided you have the proper plugin installed.
The lectures have companion Lab Notes in Doc Format and PDF Format. A "Hello World" implementation is available in Zip Format.
