Older stuff from some time ago.

I have graduated from Chico State on 23. May 1999, with a Bachelor's of Science degree in
Computer Science (General Option)

Some text of my diploma: (apologies for the odd appearance)

The Trustees of the Californa State University upon recommendation of the Faculty have conferred upon
Josh V. Hanz
the degree of
Bachelor of Science
in
Computer Science

Featured also are four signatures, two of which come from the Governor of California Gray Davis, and current President of California State University, Manuel Esteban.

In fact, everyone graduating with a BS or MS in Spring 1999 gets these signatures.

Latest news:

12 January 2001

I have received a MCP certification for Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
In the last six months, I have been training in Windows NT 4.0 Administration and Technical Support, from a telecourse series (CIS 156A and CIS 156B) at De Anza Community College (Cupertino, California). These two courses prepare for the MCP 70-73 (Windows NT 4.0 Workstation) and MCP 70-67 (Windows NT 4.0 Server).

Also I did some Windows 2000 Professional study, as well as take a C++ course to keep my C++ skills up to date. (will soon do more things with Java as well).

for more information, Please contact 2test.com.

Please note, the Windows NT 4.0 will be retired on 28. February 2001. They will be replaced with Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server.

I now work at Computer Associates ("Hello Tomorrow") in Redwood City from 30. August 1999 up to 19. February 2004, and since 1. March 2004 I work in Plano, Texas, with the same company as before. I'm a Level 1 Technology Consultant, for Cleverpath Aion.

I now have a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta TDI (90 hp Diesel), which replaced my old 1984 VW Scirocco, which today (29.12.1999) I gave away for a tax reduction. It's not even mentioned in the Kelly Blue book anymore because the latest edition only goes as far back as 1985. Oh well, it's going to someone who really needs it.

I lived up to the end of February 2004 in Foster City, California, the western end of the Highway 92 bridge across the San Francisco Bay, aka "San Mateo-Hayward" bridge. I was only 15 minutes away from SFO (San Francisco Airport).

I now live in northern Texas, just twenty miles north of Dallas. I had to move due to my job being transferred to Texas. It is a long story to tell.....

I did tow a trailer along I-40 from California to Amarillo, Texas, and then on US-287 to Decatur, and then eastward on US-380 up to Frisco's Preston Road (a historical cattle trail).

There is no state income tax in Texas.
