Texturing adds readability to a 3D models and environments.  Even a perfect model will not appear real without correct textures. This course begins with covering the texture techinques, followed by a variety of UV mapping techniques to add realism into your scene.

Lighting is an art. It defines mood, focus, atmosphere, time of day and drama. Its roots are in lighting for the theatre and cinematography for film. By understanding the importance that light plays in the successful telling of a story, a 3D lighter's skills will emerge.  3D lighting , as practiced, covers a wide range of technical and artistic disciplines. From traditional lighting, it borrows the principles and techniques of light motivation and placement. It uses ideas from psychology to convey emotion through subtle color casts and palettes, and it brings together a unified, cohesive scene through light layering in the same way that staging and lighting bring a scene together in theater. It is through balancing an artist's knowledge of the technical and the aesthetic that they can become a good lighter.
