Issues:
6/1/97: The SPID wizard failed twice (with a
confirmed good ISDN BRI line on a DMS100-NI1) for me so when I tried to enter in the SPID information
manually, the unit crashed. I then tried again but entered in the SPID numbers BACKWARDS
and SPID2 took but SPID one still failed. Ultimately, I was able to get the full SPIDs
working in the correct order by doing the following:
ie. 051093744351
5/28/97: For users that are trying to get Call Bumping to work,
you need to update your FLASH code to enable this feature. Two
rumored side effects are:
5/28/97: Call bumping will only work for the FIRST B-channel. If you get
a call on B2, you will still receive a busy signal.
5/28/97: The 3Com will no longer operate at 230400 baud.
