Many have discussed the concept of a Nerf shotgun. While this is fine, in my own experience I've often needed an area effect weapon that can be delivered over a cube wall in an office. Thus arose the concept of a nerf cluster bomb.

Version 1 was a simple concept of a simple cluster bomb canister; you throw it and when it lands out fly a bunch of munitions (in this case, Nerf Ballzooka balls.

Version 2 enhanced version 1 by applying a more directional deployment mechanism, distributing the munitions in a more even pattern around the cluster bomb.

These are still in the concept phase. The current prime area of study is a practical source for the springs.
