Light filtering through the dust
A bird gliding effortlessly through the breeze
The crunch of the earth crunching beneath my feet
Echoing throughout the serene surroundings
Rejoicing in the glorious sun
As I peruse nature's art gallery
Flowers whose petals caress the the skin like fine silk
Yet whose colors so vibrant light the eyes
A crystal clear stream rushing down its bed
The cool water refreshing and sparkling
My spirit feels light in such beautiful surroundings
Here, I feel untouched by the woes of the world
With the soft green grass stroking back
The brilliant blue sky captivating my senses
With each intake of life-giving air, I absorb the beauty
A smile lightly touches my lips
The worries seep out to be absorbed by the ever caring Mother Earth
Finally... I'm home
