Dear Viewer:
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. In this letter you will find my resume, samples of my work, information on my education, and my philosophy about business and learning designs.
After over ten years of working in the fields of photojournalism, training, marketing, video and film production, and radio journalism I have returned to college to get a degree in Instructional Technology. I believe my experience in ethnography as a journalist has greatly increased my investigative skills used in problem solving. My creative skills have come into play when I developed and produced corporate communications video programs that increased sales and motivated employees. Being at the university has given me the opportunity to research learning theories and the psychology of how we learn, are motivated to do a good job, and be successful. It has also given me an opportunity to learn the cutting edge of new technology in education and training. Please feel free to down load the PDF file with my resume and some samples of my work.
In December I will be graduating from the California State University Chico with a BS in Instructional Technology and a great deal of quality experience. CSU Chico is well know for its outstanding program in Instructional Design, and has become recognized world wide. It is my hope to enter a position in the field of instructional design and human performance improvement upon graduation from CSUC. My prime level of interest and skill is creative problem solving. I believe it is necessary to do goal or needs analysis, conducting formative evaluations , and understand performance objectives before setting out on developing instructional strategies.
