This was a new way of thinking about image making. As a photojournalist the story of the event is the most important part of the image. However, as a visual journalist it becomes clear that the emotional story may be the most important part. To get a better understanding of this concept and to open a door for some art experimentation I set out on this art adventure. After photographing the subject in an image that would tell the story and be usable as a magazine cover, it then became the outline for a painting. After the painting was finished it was photographed and presented as a film image.
