This is the status page for uClinux (Linux variant) port to Danger's Hiptop/T-Mobile Sidekick wireless organizer.




Update: As of last week I am working for Danger. Porting Linux to Hiptop is a bit trickier now. Whatever I published on this website prior to my employment will still be avilable. I need, however, to figure out what new info, if any, I can still make available for public. Until then, linux port is on hold. If you feel you'd like to take over this project, drop me a line (02/20/05).

Latest Kernel Binary . Flash start address - 0x10000.
Bootloader Binary . Flash start address - 0x0.
Ramdisk . Flash start address - 0xb0000.
LCDCTRL Source. Shows how to control backlight from user space.
ZX_Spectrum Emulator Source. This is based on Z80 core taken from "foon" project. Z80 core is written in arm asm. Emulating code desperately needs cleanup, I just have no time right now. But it does demonstrate how to get access from user space to video memory and keypad.
RTC Control Utility source. Simple clock control utility
