Regarding VisualWave... One of the error messages when it failed to start stated that an IM file had not been supplied on the command line. However, the Windows shortcut (created during installation), had automatically set it to the 'default' startup IM file. The filename was in 8.3 format (in the shortcut properties), and once I edited to full filename, I could start up the VisualWave application. With that accomplished, I re-edited the short-cut to start with the GT-PS.im file, and that seems to start up just fine now. ***************** ALSO I tried myself on an XP machine, and if I right-clicked to get Properties, then chose to browse the files, (i.e., Change what it opens with, and if not in the Programs listed, choose Browse to specify the VWAVE.EXE from the Bin directory made at installation time of VisualWorks)
