Steps to sign up for a Live or Archived Distance Education Class-

  1. Contact Continuing Education at 530.898.6105 or visit the CSU Distance Education Program web site at http://rce.csuchico.edu/cen
  2. Let them know that you want to sign up for a distance course.  They will let you know what paperwork needs to be completed and what fees need to be paid. (Note: you do not have to be admitted to the University to take a course.)
  3. You can register for classes online: https://rce.csuchico.edu/cen/cenreg/reg.aspx
  4. On this page, you will need to provide the course number and title for the course you desire. This course is Other available courses are listed here

  5. Registered students will be provided with information regarding creation of accounts.

  6. Once you have added the course, you will have a new link to the course on your home Vista page
    (You can also go to the portal login from the CSU Chico page to get to Vista Accounts and Support).
    Once in, you can take the Vista link for the course to enter the course and all of its features will be available to you, including the archived sessions or if applicable, the live class sessions.
