Course Description:

Topics:

  1. Defining Expert Systems.
  2. History and Basic Concepts of Expert Systems.
  3. Building an Expert System.
  4. Design of Expert System Shells.

Goals:

  1. Become familiar with the history and potential future of Expert Systems.
  2. Understand the structure and design of Expert Systems.
  3. Use Expert System Shells to build expert systems(i.e., application).
  4. Compare and contrast available Expert System Tools.

Grade Evaluation Procedure:

For video students, the paper presentation would consist of providing me the materials (slides, ect.) that you would use if you presented the paper in class
