Midterm

The midterm is accessible through your Vista page for this course. In your CSCI 111 page in Vista go to the Assessments tag (on the left Course Tools panel). You are allotted 90 minutes to take the exam. It has 90 questions; they are all multiple choice. Each question is equally weighted.

You may use an 8 X 11 piece of paper with notes on it. I allow this since it usually makes a student organize the information and hence be better prepared. If your information is not organized, you may not have enough time to take the test - so be prepared. You can only access the test once and the grade that you get is your midterm grade.

Good news. Note that there were 90 questsions so the score that Vista gives to you is then yourScore/90 to get the percentage. Also, since when I gave this test on campus I gave extra points on a curve, online students will receive added points as well (up to 10).

Final

Your course grade is 50% from tests and 50% from labs. You must pass both components to pass the course.
