Since You Ask...I get a lot of questions about "the click fraud thing" at Google. For obvious strategic and less obvious legal reasons, I've had to skirt around that at times. Happily, Google recently had an external reviewer go over the strategies Google uses to combat click fraud, and published the results. |
Googlewhack Result!Yes, I have played what is possibly the most pointless game in the world, and achieved a Whack. The wordpair Gingerbread Antiquark gave a single result. Update: Well, now it returns no hits, but really! It was valid webpage at one point. Feb 09 2005: Three more this afternoon. Antiproton Lassitude the ennui of being a contrarian baryon, Grenadier Neurophysiologist which would be an interesting profession, and Telomerase Perambulator which I guess is what you use to move very young Telomerases around. |

The Rich and FamousGrace Lidl doesn't have a home page, so I keep a bit of one for her here. Lisa Guethlein showed me her home page, which convinced me I should have one too. Debbie Lidl is one of the best people Maryland ever made. Her husband Kurt Lidl is a good friend and founder of pix.com. I also do my best to keep in touch with Tim, Julie, and Robbie Ruddick in San Diego. Martin Orlando may not have a home page, but this is a picture of him on a trip to Italy. A new friend at work is Dan Kegel, whose commitment to OSS efforts is highly infectious.
