All you could want to know about my Family

My parents

Dr Judith Crowe (my mom) has her own home page at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Her email address is crowe@callutheran.edu She is a director of the California Reading and Literature Project, and an accomplished artist working in pastel, watercolor, acrylic, and oil.

Bill Evarts (William Marvin Evarts III on his birth certificate) is my dad. He owns WME Tech in Westlake Village, CA. You can reach him at WME Tech's email address: wmesys@earthlink.net

My stepfolks

Gary Talbot, my step-dad (and former high-school computer science teacher) teaches (shock!) high school at Thousand Oaks High School. All kidding aside, if not for Gary, I'd probably never have made it as a programmer. He really appreciated the "game" of programming, and I'm indebted to him. As a step-dad he's pretty darn cool too. :-) His email address is gtalbot@conejo.k12.ca.us.

Great hat Gary!

Nanci Evarts and my dad were married in 1995. She also sings in barbershop quartets (and competes nationally) and has a terrific sense of humor. (Read: she laughs at my jokes) Nanci is president of Marketing Strategies Group, a marketing consultancy focusing on the insurance and financial services industries. You can reach her at nevarts@verizon.net.

My only sibling, and her family

Kimberly Hobscheid is my sister. She lives in San Diego CA, but occasionally jet-sets to Tucson, AZ in her role as an Area Manager at Volt Technical Services. Her email address is khobscheid@volt.com.

Mark "Fish on his head" Hobscheid is my bro-in-law. He's a great guy, and because of that it's always puzzled me why he married my sister, :-) He's a Cowboys fan, but I try not to hold that against him. He's also an aerospace engineer, which is almost as cool as being a programmer. He can be reached at mark.hobscheid@ngc.com.

Emma Hobscheid is their daughter, my niece. Her birthday was 8/29/97, which makes her a Virgo, just like me. She shares her birthday with Anna Ella Carroll, born in 1815, a political pamphleteer and constitutional theorist who, according to some, played a role in determining Union strategy during the Civil War.

This is a picture of her and me in my mother's dune buggy at Pismo Beach.

Born at 5:30pm on the first of February, Andrew Mason Hobscheid came in at 7 lb 15 oz, 21 inches, and is the newest addition (and edition) of the Hobscheid clan.
