For a special project in Cosumnes River College computer laboratory, initiated, organized, and wrote an improved Computer Information Science 1 lab manual which was first used Summer, 1989. Supervised graphic arts help. Collected and evaluated responses from students and instructors and acted on them.
As volunteer at Cosumnes River College Enabling Center, configured voice input computer station (for quadriplegic users) and voice synthesizer station (for blind users) so they are effective educational tools. Started training a disabled student in use of each system. Trained a student assistant in configuration, maintenance and improvement of voice input station. Advised regarding appropriate hardware and software to purchase. Tutored in math and computer science classes.
As leased operator (truck driver), coordinated loads between dispatch, shipper and consignee, each with different needs. Worked under time, safety, weather and legal pressures. Prepared and filed various records including logs, trip reports, state permits, weight certificates and bills of lading.
