Team: Kyle Dean (MECA), Andrew SIzelove (MECA), Patrick Hayden (MECA), Daniel Newman (EECE), William Anderson (EECE)
Advisors: Dr. Varahamurti, Dr. Arthur, Dr. Speiss

The goal of this project is to use a Trimble GPS system for the autonomous control of a Kubota tractor. The GPS coordinates of the target (destination) are given and the tractor has to navigate its way to the target.

For their senior project, the Team worked together in getting the Trimble GPS system to work with the Kubota tractor. The equipment used in this project was part of a CSU Agriculture Research Initiative (CSU/ARI) grant that was completed last Fall 2005. Since then, the equipment has been transfered to the jurisdiction of the ISL.
