Some links you might find to be handy

Our school:
  • ECE 141/EECE 365 Notes - These are lecture notes from the famous Dr. Richard Bednar, when he used to teach this class
  • ECST Website - Our home, the College of Engineering! Here you can find info on all your favorite teachers and classes
Other Useful Links:
  • Manufacturer Information (for datasheets,specs,etc.)
    • Altera - Manufacturer of Programmable Logic Devices, useful in EECE344/444 and senior projects
    • Freescale(Motorola) - The company who brought you the legendary MC68000, and the source of products like the ColdFire microcontroller/microprocessor along with other uControllers from 8-bit to 32-bit and beyond!
  • General Electronics Information
  • Development Boards, Prototyping, dedicated modules, etc.
    • SparkFun - Lots of neat little add-ons to your projects..from processor boards to RF modules to LCD displays! Good prices, too
    • M C Shop - Everything you need to get started with microcontrollers of all types (ARM, PIC, Coldfire,etc.). They stock programmers, Dev. kits, and accessories
    • Parallax - Dev kits for PLD's/FPGA's, and some uControllers. Also accessories to go with them
    • BatchPCB - Just found this site, and its pretty exciting! For all of you out there who want to learn how to make a pcb, this company is by far the cheapest out there that'll make a board for you. You get a 2 layer board with solder mask and silkscreen for $10 + $2.5/sq in. Take a look at their restrictions before you start routing your board, but this is a great place to get professional looking boards made!
  • Parts, Parts, Parts...
    • Jameco - A distributor of electronic components, the website and catalog are easy to navigate.
    • Digi-Key - This electronics distributor has nearly everything you could possibly need. With great power comes great complexity, meaning it is harder to find what you are looking for here. Use Jameco if you can (cheaper shipping, too).
    • Mouser Electronics - This is another giant electronics catalog company, like Digi-Key
