The Advanced Electronics lab (OCNL 344)is used by several classes, most notably Electronics I and II (EECE 315 and 316). This lab contains oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, digital multimeters and function generators. The lab also contains PCs and support equipment.

The circuits lab (OCNL 337) contains equipment usable in the design and testing of analog and digital circuits.

This lab is also known as the RF Lab (OCNL 339). The equipment in this lab includes modulation domain analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, RF network analyzers, various signal generators, microwave spectrum analyzers, pulse generators, VHF oscillators, and power supplies.

The Embedded Systems Lab (OCNL 343) is used primarily by the Embedded Systems Class (EECE 437). This lab contains the host computers running VxWorks and several target computer.

This lab (OCNL 346) is used primarily by the Microprocessor Systems Design class (EECE 444). This spacious lab includes oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, digital multimeters and function generators. The lab also contains PCs and support equipment.

Senior Projects Laboratory (OCNL 341) This laboratory serves as the primary work area for students working on their senior projects. In addition to the usual set of test equipment, the room has private storage areas where students can keep their projects. Equipment includes oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, universal device programmers, microprocessor and microcontroller development systems and kits, and networked computers with software needed to support hardware/software project development. In the Fall of 2007, 14 new PC’s, and 2 PC based scopes/function generators were added to the lab facility.

Cisco Router Laboratory (OCNL 342) The router laboratory has ISP and enterprise level networking equipment donated by Cisco Systems sufficient to support 10 student groups with all equipment needed to prepare for the CCNA and CCNP networking exams. Stand-alone routers and switches are available for both Ethernet and ATM to support independent senior and graduate level projects. Packet generators may be used to simulate network traffic, and LAN and WAN network analyzers from Agilent Technologies to observe network traffic.

This lab in OCNL434 supports many program development activities. There are 34 workstations in this lab. The programs in this lab include PSpice, LogicWorks, LogicAid, Matlab, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, and other programs.
