EECE 135X: Programming Problem Session
Prerequisites:Concurrent enrollment
in EECE 135
Elective
Catalog Description: Designed
to supplement EECE 135 with additional applications and extended
explanations of concepts encountered in programming. Provides the
student with the opportunity for additional assistance in basic
programming skills. Credit/no credit grading only. Formerly ECE
090X.
Course Objectives:
- help students design program in C and C++
- help students formulate solutions to programming
problems
- teach students the value of program documentation
Course Outcomes:
Students shall be able to:
- design C and C++ programs
- write programs in the C and C++ languages with:
- looping construct
- user-supplied function
- user-defined type
- pointers and array
- user-defined classes
- document programs so that others can understand their
operation
Class/Laboratory schedule:
- One hundred minutes a week activity

- Engineering Science: 0.5 units
- Engineering Design: 0.5 units
