Fill out the project application form and turn it in to your teacher (Due by March 14, 2008 ).

Once you have received approval from your teacher, you can begin work on your project. Science Experiment Worksheet would be helpful.

Weeks 2 thru 5

(Feb 18 - Mar 14)

• Organize everything you plan to do.
• Write out your procedure.
• If you are doing an experiment, make a guess (hypothesis) about what you think will happen.
• Gather your materials.
• Perform your experiment. (Probably several times to be sure you have good results).
• Record your observations.
• What did you learn or find out by doing this experiment?
• See if your original guess was correct.

Week 5 (Mar 10)

Begin work on your display. Present the information you collected in easy-to-read graphs or tables. If you did an experiment, reserve special areas of your display for your Problem, Hypothesis, Procedure, Results and Conclusion. If you plan to use photographs, allow enough time to have them printed.

Week 6 (Mar 24)

Make a written report to include with your display (optional).

Week 8 (Apr 7)

Bring your project to CSU College Farm between 10am and 6pm on Monday April 7, 2008.

Week 8 (Apr 11)

Pick up project at CSU College Farm, after NOON and BEFORE 4:00 pm on Friday April 11, 2007.
