Graphics at Chico State

The computer graphics program at Chico State is a new entity on campus. With possible careers in computer animation, videogame design, cinematic special effects, commercial effects, forensic graphics, application interface design, etc., the new major in Applied Computer Graphics will be growing quickly.

At the front of this new growth, the CGC acts as a guide to new computer graphic artists, a forum for current students, and a portfolio builder and launch pad for graduating CG experts.

Applied Computer Graphics

The Applied computer Graphics major is flexible enough to cater to those from any related field. A computer science major interested in the major may enjoy the technical option, which focuses on programming classes. A studio art major may enjoy the studio art supplemental program.

With options in technical or production, and supplemental programs in studio art or communication design, the major in Applied Computer Graphics can be tailored to fit any set of interests.
