About the CGC
The Computer Graphics Consortium is a student-run
organization for students interested in computer
generated artwork and related subjects. It is open to
all students, whether you have an interest in
graphics or are an Applied Computer Graphics major.
The purpose of the club is to provide an open forum
for graphics enthusiasts to interact and share their
work.
The CGC meets once a month to discuss club happenings,
graphics, and anything else worth our attention. We
keep a constantly updated website featuring
information on everything related to computer graphics
at Chico State, as well as resources for members such as a
gallery where they can post their best works. We also
work to bring people from areas of the computer
graphics industry, such as Industrial Light and Magic
or Pixar, to Chico to give discussions or
presentations.
At the moment the club is "in production," and things
such as membership and meeting times won't be
implemented til the semester begins. For now, if you
would like to express your interest or want further
information please contact Clarke Steinback or Alisha
Thayer via the "Contact The CGC" link on the left.
