Websetup Instructions
The Websetup program was created to allow users to create their own web
directories. Since July 19, 1996, all web pages have been stored locally on our
web server, so the old method of using a public_html directory no longer works.
Instructions:
Websetup has six options:
- -a Analyze current setup
Creates a report on the current status of your web page.
- -A Interactivly analyze and correct current setup
Same as above except that it allows you to correct problems as they are discovered.
- -b Edit BLURB file
Allows you to edit your BLURB file, which is the quote about your home page
as it appears in the User
Home Page listing.
- -c Setup web directory, and create a simple web page
This will create a web directory and a sample home page.
- -C Just create a web directory
Same as above except it only creates a web directory.
- -h Toggle HIDDEN file
Allows you to choose weither your home page appears in the
User Home Page listing.
