A major goal for the California Pavement Preservation Center is to maintain a comprehensive, state-of-the-art, resource library for pavement preservation practitioners. The library will be structured to enable users to access material from a general directory with topics such as:

A wide range of pavement preservation, preventive maintenance, pavement repair and rehabilitation topics will be covered by the documents in the library. Examples include (but are not limited to):

The library index will eventually include a comprehensive listing of research reports, published papers, technical briefings, relevant industry information about best practices, materials, and equipment. Documents in the library may also be located through an advanced search page.
References are obtained from both national and international sources, as appropriate. The library is "virtual" in operation ( i.e. although descriptive information about particular documents will be posted with active links, the Center may not necessarily possess and host the actual document). A minimum description of the contents of each document consists of an abstract, author(s), publication date, availability, an acquisition source, and the means to acquire it (either direct download from the Center or via hypertext link.
