Chico Science Fair and the California State University, Chico have formed a partnership designed to enrich the science experience for students of all ages, and to promote understanding of high quality research and the application of the scientific method.

Teams of CSUC students from student chapters of professional organizations and honor societies are available on request to give a 50 minute presentation and demonstration on:

"How to do a Science Fair Project in __________"

Just insert your favorite discipline! Teams of students will be visiting classrooms whose teachers have requested a presentation.

This program provides Chico State students with an excellent opportunity for community outreach and service, to share their excitement and love of their scientific discipline, and to be a positive influence and role model for a future scientist. Additionally, it gives school teachers an effective and efficient resource for encouraging their students to get interested in science by giving them a fantastic chance to see real science and learn to do it themselves.
